Group Classes
We offer group classes and wellbeing workshops with a mix of movement, relaxation and discussion.
These are often focused on different themes, for example, ‘Connecting to ourselves and others’, ‘Anxiety - moments of peace’ or ‘Being in Nature’.
I have worked with many organisations including the NHS, The London Wildlife Trust, Arts Council England, John Lewis, PayPal and Arts Ed London as well as schools and wellbeing centres. A recent project includes working with Harmony in Health with groups of Ukrainian Women, more info
NEW GROUP CLASSES - AUTUMN 2026
Introductory Group Sessions
For anyone new or nearly new to the Alexander Technique - these lively and practical group sessions - will help you understand what it is all about. You will learn some techniques to help release tension and improve posture, and also get a taste of how mind/body awareness can open possibilities for how you feel in yourself and interact with the world.
Thursday, September 24th, 10-11.30am, £25 including tea/coffee and cake
Thursday, October 8th, 10-11.30am, £25 including tea/coffee and cake
Small Group sessions - exploring Alexander Technique in more depth
Three group sessions (with a maximum of 5 participants) will run from 10am -12.30 midday on a Thursday morning - September 17th, October 1st, October 15th.
These are for anyone who has experienced the Alexander Technique and is interested to learn more and experience how it can help them be themselves, untangle habits and develop poise and presence.
We will explore a different theme each session and you are welcome to bring questions or activities you would like to work on. You will receive individual hands-on work, have the opportunity to watch others receive turns and learn together in group activities. We will also discuss some of the principles and ideas.
The investment is £50 per session (less than one 45 minute individual lesson) and includes tea/coffee and cake. Signing up for three sessions costs £125.
Learning in a group brings different insights than individual lessons; hearing the questions of others, seeing bodies transform, feeling different energies and sharing interests. It is more like the Alexander Technique teacher training. If you are curious - give it a go!
