Immersive Weekend

An Alexander Technique retreat with four experienced teachers

Join us for a special residential weekend exploring the Alexander Technique at the beautiful Gaunts House in Dorset, from 19–21 March 2027.

Whether you are completely new to the Alexander Technique, have taken a few lessons or are a practitioner looking for fresh perspectives, you are warmly welcome.

This immersive weekend offers an opportunity to step away from everyday demands, slow down and discover more about how we use ourselves both in movement and stillness. Through practical sessions, guided exploration and opportunities for reflection, we will investigate how we can find greater ease, poise and freedom in everyday activities.

The retreat will be led by four experienced Alexander Technique teachers: Julia Outlaw, Ruth Davis, Henry George and Millie Ball. Each brings their own experience and perspective, creating a rich and varied programme of learning.

Set within the tranquil grounds of Gaunts House, the weekend will combine Alexander Technique sessions with time to connect with others, enjoy the peaceful environment and allow new discoveries to take root.

Everyone is welcome — no previous experience of the Alexander Technique is necessary. Come on your own or with a friend, and join a friendly, open group for a weekend of curiosity, learning and exploration.
